Congratulations to all those selected for the 2024 UC Rugby Academy.
We are super excited to reinvigorate this initiative, with the help of previous Alumni Sam Lindsay. The goal of the academy is to prepare our up and coming young players for the demands of Premier rugby and beyond.
The Academy will feature a range of subject areas from nutrition, mental skills, on-field specialist skills, role specific skills and preparation for after rugby. We’ll be relying on both internal specialists, but also calling on those from CRFU, UC player alumni and university staff.
The players are a representative group from across our Premier, Premier Reserve, Women’s Premier and Colts programmes.
We wish them well and hope they enjoy the process and take a great deal out of the academy programme.
